Author's Biography
Lew Moore got the political bug at an early age— five years old, staying up half the night watching the 1960 Kennedy-Nixon election results. In 1964 he doorbelled with his mother, a precinct captain, for Barry Goldwater. He was an adjunct faculty member teaching American history at Western Washington University when he started doing politics professionally. He served as chief of staff for Congressman Jack Metcalf (R-WA) 1995-2001. He was the executive director of the Northwest Straits Marine Conservation Initiative when he began performing assignments as an unpaid consultant and staffer for the Ron Paul 2008 presidential campaign. In June, 2007 he became national campaign manager and served in that post for the remainder of the campaign. Since then he has done writing, research, and consulting for business, governmental, and political efforts. From 2015-2018 he was the President of the Washington Research Council. Since becoming a full-time Utah resident Lew spearheaded the SecureVoteUtah ballot initiative effort of 2021, and completed his first book, Forerunner: the Unlikely Role of Ron Paul. “Lew currently hosts the podcast Hour of Decision on NFA (newsforamerica.org)
